Community Embrace Mission -- What We Do

From continuing education and leisure learning, to support with addictive, mental health, and other social issues, to concerts and community events, our facility is home for up to fifty events each month. Read more about how we embrace the community and help us maintain the spaces that give hope and joy to so many ...

• The Interfaith Counseling Center provides accessible, affordable, and sensitive counseling care for all in need
• The Interfaith Food Cupboard is open three days a week, providing food staples to over fifty persons/week
• A partnership of local churches, civic groups and restaurants provide weekly meals and monthly suppers to local food-insecure families, and our Loaves & Fishes crew prepares and deliveres meals to the homeless and families in need beyond our community
• Clothing contributions through Loaves & Fishes, Dorcas International, and Undie Sundays provide basic seasonal wear for homeless, immigrant, and families in need
• The Rhode Island Children's Chorus auditions, teaches, and rehearses with over seventy participants each season
• Up to fifty meetings/month are hosted for support groups addressing multiple social and mental health issues
• Leisure learning, music lessons, summer theater camp, yoga classes and community events are scheduled throughout the year
• Community meetings, small group meetings, weddings/receptions, family gatherings, and parish meetings fill out the schedule and make this facility a gathering space for all
